Core Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for key District Ventures Plus partner companies, with a focus on working with senior leaders, building customer loyalty, maintaining customer relationships and generating additional service opportunities

  • Lead the partner onboarding process and work closely with the fund to transition partners from existing relationships

  • Drive excellence across the team in our partner deliverables, from strategy through to creative product and execution

  • Ownership against profitability targets, revenue forecasting and management, as well as overseeing reporting and estimating for partner businesses

  • Actively identify larger trends, understand the implications of those trends and the application to a partner’s business – ie cookie deprecation and first party data strategies.

  • Lead and manage marketing and project management direct reports, own responsibility for upholding District Ventures Plus standards in team management and project execution for our partner marketing initiatives.

  • Work with other teams to integrate District Ventures Plus offerings into a holistic approach based on the partner’s marketing needs

  • Responsible for partner satisfaction metrics, acquisition goals, and profit goals.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 10+ years of related marketing and brand experience with proven ability as a self-starter and relationship leader

  • Demonstrate bigger picture understanding of Partner’s marketing strategy and ability to communicate how current insights/tactics associate with longer-term strategy objectives

  • Proven ability to lead and foster relationships at the C-suite level

  • Ability to take complex ideas and explain them simply

  • 7+ years of online marketing, direct marketing and/or related strategy work including campaign development and performance analyses

  • Proven experience in managing teams of people, and in working cross-functionally across an organization

  • Resilient and persistent, comfortable with ambiguity and managing through adversity

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including extremely strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
