Overview:
We are currently looking to add a full time, 6-month contract (with potential for consideration of extension) Media Planner/Buyer to our growing team. This is an intermediate role, responsible for planning, executing, managing, and reporting on multi-platform campaigns for a variety of clients, reporting to the Director of Media. Primary responsibility will be managing SEM, online display, mobile, social, programmatic, native, audio and video campaigns. Secondary responsibilities will including planning, buying and managing traditional media, including OOH, DOOH, print, TV and radio. The successful candidate will have campaign management experience, a high attention to detail and the ability to manage a variety of projects simultaneously. Experience in performance-driven campaign management and the consumer packaged goods segment considered assets.
Core Duties and Responsibilities include:
Plan, buy, manage, traffic and optimize display, mobile, video/audio, social and SEM campaigns.
Undertake traditional media planning, buying, and management on an as-needed basis (OOH, TV, Radio, Print, DMs, etc.)
Perform ongoing campaign monitoring
Campaign analysis and reporting, in concert with a team of analysts
Perform in-depth, ongoing media research on the media landscape and trends, and provide periodic analysis of media opportunities for clients
Contract/invoice checking, budget reconciliations, and spend/ROI reporting
Desired Skills and Experience:
3-5 years agency experience in a related capacity
SEM campaign management skills are mandatory
Demonstrated experience with Google Adwords and Analytics
Demonstrated proficiency managing display, mobile, video, and paid social campaigns
Advanced-level excel skills
Ability to self-manage and work as part of team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
High level of skill in all aspects of digital marketing and communications, including new digital marketing tools and analytics
Exceptional analytical, strategic, and research abilities
Familiarity with Google analytics, PowerBI, Excel, PowerPoint
Experience with data visualization, tagging and trafficking
Ability to self-manage and work as part of team
Demonstrated success meeting deadlines while handling a variety of concurrent projects and assignments, with exceptional time management skills
Deep experience with e-commerce campaigns and the CPG segment considered assets
